I had lots of things to write regarding the year ahead, 2014, but actually I’m just going to post a little explanation of 5 things/phrases that are really important to me right now, and then the 5 things.
1) a quote that the Pastor of my church felt God telling him, during a prayer meeting. He felt it relevant both corporately as a church, but also for people individually. It has become really important to me over the last few months and I feel it is to continue being important over the next few months. 2) a set of words when I put a call out for help in thinking of words to use as a new ‘tagline’ having closed down my previous blog. It was quite a challenge as I’m not good at coming up with positives and these words have been really impacting. 3) two words. For several years now I’ve had ‘a word’ or ‘three’ that I take into the year with me, as part of the http://www.oneword365.com project and Word 1 needs no explanation and Word 2 I don’t really know how this will play out but 3 separate people suggested it to me in a 24 hour period, so I’m going with it. 4) the end of a carol that has really spoken to me this year about what we can offer, and that it is simply giving our heart to God 5) a bible verse that is really relevant and important to the journey I’m on right now regarding identity and who I am.
I sense all 5 of these are very important and will continue to be so in 2014. I’m not entirely sure why and how fully yet. So I simply ask you to join me in the journey ahead and pray for revelation of the meaning of things to become clear. Thank you, and Happy New Year!
